                                              What Is Salvation?

First and foremost, salvation is OF THE LORD. If it is of the Lord, then it cannot come from man. We have to understand this before we can go any farther. It COMES FROM GOD ALONE, without man's help( Jn.3:16). Salvation is THE GIFT OF GOD(Jn.4:10,Ep.2:8).A gift by definition CANNOT be what religion says it is; A PAYCHECK (earned), AN ACHIEVEMENT AWARD(attained), A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT (God does His part, you do your part), or A LIMITED WARRANTY(will not be honored on God's end if not maintained). What happens to us if we see salvation as one of these instead of as a gift? ANSWER: THE SAME THING THAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHERS IN THE BIBLE :"DEPART FROM ME, I NEVER KNEW YOU" Who were these words directed at? People who wanted to trade their good works for God's salvation.( Mt.7:22-23)." IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM HE, YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS". Who were these words directed at? People who trusted in ceremonies and OBEDIENCE to a list of do's and don'ts ( Jn.8;24). You too my friend will hear those dreadful, awful words one day if you allow MAN to cause you to have a false hope for salvation.Jesus PLAINLY said that it is IMPOSSIBLE for man to save himself, but "with GOD all things are possible."(Mt.19:25-26).SOLA FIDE!
