If this song offends you, then you are offended at Jesus.  He is the one who told us about this place.  It is a real place.  You do not want to go there.  The only way to not go there is to accept Jesus as your Savior.  To be saved literally means to be rescued.  All the saved ones have been rescued from hell by the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.

...Come take a listen;  You may just like what you hear...

I will always have fond memories of the place that I grew up as a child.  We didn't have much in earthly treasures, but we had each other, and that's something that money cannot buy.  This song was written and sung at our high school graduation, and recorded on the Friends Around The Mic album twenty-two years later.  What a treat to sing it together with my friends after all these years.  Remember your childhood often, and let it give you strength for tomorrow.
